Click the links on the left under "Sketches" for a collection of occasional observations and anecdotes from my times in the hills and mountains. Some names have been changed and some locations withheld, either at the request of people involved or because I might want to go back some time. Any connection you make between these stories and actual events you find anywhere else on this website is entirely down to you, and I shall deny everything.
